Had to go twice. Both times were wonderful experiences, the staff are good sports and go above and beyond to give great care ensuring youre comfortable through your entire process. Surgeons, nurses, and staff across the board are above par and competent. I got all 4 wisdom teeth plus one molar removed with only numbing shots and it was one of my easiest dental visits... and its the most extream thing I've had done for context.

I would like to share the wonderful experience with Doctor Emily and her staff. I am already fighting a life threatening illness with end stage kidney disease. Not realizing the loss of calcium causes the teeth to decay and crumble, I began to have much oral pain. My teeth had always been in excellent condition. I was able to sit for a dentist taking state boards when I was in nursing school, so my teeth had silver and gold fillings and everything fixed. With so many battles with kidney disease, trying to stay alive, my teeth were not priority. During an hospitalization, Doctor Emily pulled some problem teeth. I loved her understanding and compassion of my situation. She is a wonderful and caring and kind person. Having been in the medical profession, this is not always true. She was able to see me in her office, even though I have renal osteoarthritis dystrophy and am in a wheelchair. She has now pulled out all the teeth that were crumbling and decaying. I will be extremely grateful for her and her support throughout this journey. Thank you for a wonderful staff that works with her. I will definitely refer others to this practice! In my experience they are the best! Linda D.Olger

I just spoke with the receptionist who had a very aggressive tone and just kept putting me off saying "you need to call your dentist and get the tooth #". Never in my life have I even heard of that. Even though I had already told her it's the very last molar in the very back of my mouth. Then she rudely talked over me and said twice in a row, "okay so you'll need a consultation first, you'll need a consultation first". She made me so uncomfortable that I didn't even dare go there for treatment. I had already told her in the beginning of the conversation how nervous I was about the dentist and she still chose to be unkind. Due to her behavior, I would not recommend, but maybe the process itself would be okay or a different receptionist. I really hope she chooses to treat people better. πŸ™

I went to my first visit day after 4TH OF July best time to go for an appt-they took care of my tooth issue that same time rather than having me drive back (over an hour away) for being treated. I was very happy about that. Staff as well as doctor was very nice.

My son recently has his wisdom teeth extracted at the Rockford office. Dr. VanHeukelom saw him at a pre-op appointment to tell us what to expect. My son was seen promptly on the day of his surgery, Dr. VanHeukelom told us the extraction went well and there were no problems. In the recovery area, Kennedy was very friendly and explained the discharge orders. Mia came in to remove the IV, she also answered our questions. That night Kennedy called us to see how everything was going, she also called back on Monday to check in. The care at this office was exceptional, the entire staff was professional, and very friendly. I would highly recommend going there if you need any type of oral surgery.
